Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of hiddenpod.com and the PodSignal scoring system (together, the "Service"), operated by HiddenPod LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("HiddenPod," "we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1.What PodSignal Measures

PodSignal measures production quality, structure, consistency, and topical fit. It does not evaluate, fact-check, or vouch for the accuracy of a show's content, in any category.

Scores are generated algorithmically from publicly available podcast data and are provided for informational purposes only. A PodSignal score is not an endorsement of any show's viewpoints, claims, or factual accuracy, and should not be relied on as such.

2.Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
One personal account per person; accounts may not be shared or transferred.

3.Claiming a Show

Creators may claim a show by completing our ownership-verification process. You represent that any show you claim is one you actually own or are authorized to represent. Falsely claiming a show you do not own or control is a violation of these Terms and may result in the claim being reversed and your account suspended.

Download figures and other statistics you provide during the claim process are self-reported. While we may request supporting evidence (such as a screenshot), HiddenPod does not independently verify the accuracy of self-reported figures beyond that evidence, and you are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit.

4.Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Attempt to manipulate, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the scoring system.
Claim a show you do not own or are not authorized to represent.
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that disrupts it for others.
Scrape or systematically extract data from the Service without our prior written consent.

5.Intellectual Property

The PodSignal scoring methodology, the HiddenPod name and branding, and the Site's design and content (excluding third-party podcast data) are the property of HiddenPod. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to use HiddenPod's trademarks or proprietary methodology except as necessary to use the Service as intended.

6.Disclaimers

THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL SCORES AND DATA, IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. HIDDENPOD DOES NOT WARRANT THAT SCORES ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Links to Third-Party Sites

The Service contains links to websites, resources, and content operated by third parties — including podcast episodes and audio, show pages, RSS feeds, podcast directories and listening apps, and creators' own websites and social profiles. These links are provided solely for your convenience and reference.

HiddenPod does not own, operate, or control these third-party sites and resources, and we do not endorse and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, opinions, products, services, or privacy practices. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship by HiddenPod. Any podcast content you access through the Service is created and published by third parties, not by HiddenPod.

When you follow a link away from the Service, you leave the Service and do so at your own risk, and your use of any third-party site is governed by that site's own terms and privacy policies rather than ours. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HiddenPod is not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any loss or damage caused or alleged to be caused by, or in connection with, your use of or reliance on any content, goods, or services available on or through any third-party site or resource.

7.Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HIDDENPOD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE WILL HIDDENPOD'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE SUM OF $100.

8.Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, including submitting a false ownership claim or attempting to manipulate the scoring system.

9.Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
