Nick Tixi is an DJ, producer, journalist and writer based in Sardinia. For nearly three decades he has been exploring the many shades of house music, from deep and soulful grooves to disco, organic and contemporary electronic sounds. His artistic vision is rooted in the Mediterranean, where music becomes a way to tell stories, evoke places and connect cultures. This philosophy shapes House from the Mediterranean, a project inspired by the landscapes, light, winds and rhythms of Southern Europe, transforming them into immersive DJ sets and original productions. Throughout his career, Nick has performed in some of Sardinia's most renowned clubs, festivals and events, sharing the stage with internationally acclaimed artists while developing a musical identity built on elegance, groove and emotional storytelling. During the pandemic he created SLURP, a series of live DJ performances filmed in some of Sardinia's most iconic landscapes, celebrating the relationship between electronic music and the island's natural beauty. Alongside music, Nick works as a journalist for L'Unione Sarda, writes about culture, travel and music, and is the author of Le strade secondarie del mare. Whether through words or sound, his goal remains the same: telling authentic stories inspired by the Mediterranean.
