The other part wants to throw your phone directly into the ocean and buy a quiet, off-grid plot of land in Portugal with nothing but horses and chickens to keep you company. Mike the Schwartz builds the soundtrack for this exact internal divide. By layering raw biofeedback, natural field recordings, and handpan over warm, post-rock guitars drenched in reverb and nostalgia, the music exists in the tension between chaotic modern isolation and the simple, quiet survival we all crave when the world gets too heavy.
