Melbourne-born and bred, DJ Magnus clearly communicates an infectious passion for music through the decks. If you missed his debut gig at Cairns Tropical Pride in 2007, he may well have had you sweating it out at Big Gay Day (Brisbane), I Remember House (Sydney / Melbs), Midsumma T-Dance (Melbourne), CoastOut (Coffs Harbour), ChillOut (Daylesford), Christchurch Pride (NZ), Rebel Bar (Melbs / Sydney), Broken Heel Festival (Broken Hill), Geelong Rainbow Festival, Tropical Fruits Festival (Lismore), or at the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras AfterParty. His signature sound of uplifting vocal House and an instinct for reading a crowd whilst delivering goosebumps on the dance floor, have earned him a respected place as one of Australia's finest House music DJs / LGBTQIA+ artists. However, he also shows fantastic versatility by playing genres Chill, Deep House, Progressive, and Trance. He's held residencies all over Australia, including The Wickham / White Wolf (Brisbane), Daywash / Hot Kandi / ARQ / The Colombian (Sydney), Rock City / Sircuit / The GH / Sundaylicious, Viper Room, The Peel (Melbourne), and Flamingos (Hobart), and more recently The Met / Levee Bar / Beats On Tap (Lismore). DJ Magnus has also supported many local & International acts including Heather Small (M People), Paul Mac, Kelly Rowland, Wynter Gordon & played alongside DJs Seamus Haji, eSQUIRE, Jolyon Petch, Dani Toro and Wayne G to name a few.
